Beach Trip!

Yesterday we made a trip out to the Oregon coast. It was supposed to be about a 100 degrees inland so we hoped the coast would be cooler. After driving an hour and waiting to get a parking spot we arrived. Dallin woke up just a few minutes before we got there. Because of his long nap Dallin was in a good mood at the beginning of our day.

We met a few of our friends at the beach. Here is Luke and Dallin with our friend Caroline.

After we had been at the beach for a while Dallin got cranky so we tried to put him down for a nap.

He never did fall asleep so we tried to keep him entertained. We took him out to the waves to see what he thought.

Luke next took his turn playing with Dallin in the water.

Luke tried to explain the the water at the beach is similar to the water in the bath tub.

We then let Dallin try the water all by himself.

That is when Dallin decided he was done for the day and wanted to go home.

We then packed up and Dallin fell asleep just as we were about to head up to the car. It was a long day, but it was fun. Thanks Claudia for inviting us!
