September 13-19

So this week for events:

Tuesday the kids had pictures taken by our friend Lisa.  Dallin is not interested in holding Christine or staying put for very long so it was an adventure.

Wednesday Dallin's occupational therapist came for the first time. She gave me some ideas of things I can try with Dallin.  The plan is to get Dallin communicating, if not with talking then with sign language or pictures or something.

Thursday Christine had her 2 month well check.  Dr. Mandi says she is perfect.  Here are her stats: weight 12 lbs 12.6 oz (85-90%), height 23.5 inches (90%), head --I don't remember--(75%).  She is a big girl trying to catch up to Dallin.

Sunday Luke and his brother Jonathan's family were evacuated due to a fire on the mountain behind their house.  They were able to come home the next day, but it was still crazy and stressful.

Dallin loves to push this little stroller around.  I thought it was funny that he decided to push this wrestler doll around in the stroller.

Dallin also loves to drive around in this little car.  He is now starting to understand that he can move it around if he stands up and tries to walk.

While Dallin is playing this is what Christine is usually doing.  Hanging out in the stroller.

Another of the many toys other kids leave out so Dallin can play with them.

Dallin has figured out that the chair Christine sits in has a vibrator.  He makes sure that it is always on.

Dallin is a master  of going up and down the stairs.  He loves to use the handrail to help him.  He has gotten pretty talented at carrying things with him as he travels up and down the stairs.

Dallin's lion has just moved from buddy to baby.  Dallin has been using blankets to wrap up lion so he can carry him around like a baby.  Once I saw what he was trying to do I helped him wrap his lion up.  After that whenever he wanted him wrapped he brought lion and a blanket to me.
