For my birthday every year we make pumpkin pie and invite friends over to eat it. Dallin looked forward to eating the pie with much anticipation.
On Friday night we had trunk or treat with both wards. This year we borrowed costumes from our friends the Nuttalls. So Dallin was lightning McQueen and Christine was Tow Mater.
Everyone loved their costumes. Here they are ready to go. We did some activities inside then it was already past the kids bedtime before people were going to head outside. We decided to head home since Christine had missed her nap and Dallin was starting to get a cold.
Saturday morning we went to the mall for a Halloween activity. The kids played with some beads and got some candy. It was super crowded. I think it was the fullest activity I have seen yet this year. There were some firemen their to teach the kids a little fire safety. I think Dallin was overwhelmed by all the people so he was not able to focus on the fireman.
We then left to go to The EMMC Cancer Center in Brewer. They had all kinds of fire truck and firemen from multiple departments around. This kids got to see lots of trucks and climb inside some.
After checking out the fire engines we went to the back of the building to see the life flight helicopter land. We then got to go check it out.
It was a fun busy morning. Christine crashed when we got in the car to go home.
