October 17th

Luke had the 17th off from work so we decided we should take advantage of the nice day.  We went to a pumpkin patch near us.

We wandered down to the fields.  They were very muddy and picked over.  Dallin liked seeing the animals. Christine is still afraid.  They also had an apple orchard.  Next year we will have our act together earlier so that we can also go apple picking.
That night Dallin and I went with the cub scouts to the Standpipe.  It is a water tower with an observation area on the top.

 The views from the top were amazing.

 Who would think you were in the middle of the city.  Mind you this the BIG city.  Bangor is the third largest city in Maine.  This is the view of down town.

I look forward to when we can go again during another season.
