Dallin is getting more confident at WALKING up and down the stairs. He likes to use the hand rails. Dallin also likes to sit or lay on the stairs. Its sorta his new favorite hangout.
Christine is growing strong after a rough start. She was finally able to pass her birth weight at her visit to the doctors the first week of August.
Christine make some of the funniest faces. If only the camera was fast enough to catch them all.
Us girls, just hanging out.
On Tuesday the 10th I took the kids to the zoo. I guess it takes trips like this to learn missing a nap for a day out is not always worth it. Here is Dallin riding the MAX to the zoo.
The zoo was extra crowded because it was $4 Tuesday. We got to see all kinds of animals. The lion exhibit was open this time. Dallin liked playing on the swinging poles in the primates section of the zoo.
Dallin also liked banging on the African drums on our way to the lions.
It took until about 3pm for me to finally get this
and this
at the same time. Finally it was time to ride the MAX home. The cars were so full we skipped the first train and forced our way onto the second one to go home.
In other news our quest for another car was finally completed. At the end of July we found the car we wanted. I was able to pick up the car August 2. Luke loves driving his "baby". Luke believes everyone who sees him drive by looks on with envy.
I guess this now gets you updated to the present day. Right now we are getting ready for Luke to leave on his next rotation at the Eye Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah. I get to play single mom for the next three months while Luke gets to hang out with his brother Jon and family.
