May, a new chapter begins

With the beginning of summer we broke out the shorts for Dallin.  Luke thought these ones, that Dallin wore last year were a little to short for Dallin to be wearing outside this year.
We finally got around to putting child-locks in the kitchen so the gates came down! Dallin ran circles through the kitchen over and over just because he could.
Now that Dallin was allowed in the kitchen he would anxiously await things cooking in the oven.  Now when we cook anything we have to turn on the oven light so Dallin can see... even if it is covered in foil so you can't see anything.
Dallin has been enjoying making a mess with many different foods... today it was pizza.
Opening up the kitchen also brought a new perch for Dallin.  He loves to stand on the baseboard heater to look out the window.  He does it anytime he hears a noise outside.
In May we ended Luke's third year of optometry school.  We had to say goodbye to friends as we started the fourth year and rotations.  Luke had his first rotation internal so we got to trade off days with the car.  Luke carpooled with one of the other interns, Carolyn, to clinic everyday.
This month it finally dawned on Luke that leaving me with two kids and no car for three months was not a good idea so we began searching for a car.  After doing a lot of research Luke set his heart on getting a Mazda 3.  We started our long search to find the right car for us.
